CLASS 101: Discovering Church Membership
"C.L.A.S.S. 101 is the basic introduction to the Living Waters Church family. I'm Pastor Jody, the pastor here. In each class we get to know the folks in our church family and explain why we do what we do."
This class is divided into four different sessions of about an hour each.
- Our Salvation (What God has done for us)
- Our Statement (Why we exist as a church)
- Our Strategy (How we fulfill our purpose)
- Our Structure (When and where we fulfill our purpose)
The basis of this class is Ephesians 2:19, "You are a member of God's very own family and you belong in God's household with every other Christian." The church is a family. God expects each of us to be a part of a church family. If we are not, we are like an orphan, missing out on all the benefits a family brings.
I want to personally invite you to come and discover how great life can be when you are committed not only to God, but also to his family, the church.
CLASS 101 is one of four basic seminars designed to help you grow as a Christian. C.L.A.S.S. stands for Christian Life And Service Seminars. C.L.A.S.S. includes 101, Discovering My Membership; 201, Discovering Spiritual Maturity; 301, Discovering My Ministry; 401, Discovering My Mission for a total of sixteen hours of training. Each 4-hour seminar includes a meal. The seminars are designed to be taken consecutively since each one builds on the other.
