Worship Greeters: This welcoming team warmly greets everyone who is on their way to the worship service with a handshake and a smile. These people give first impressions of friendliness, acceptance, and love to mspanbers.
Snack Provider: Each week snacks (homspanade or store bought) are provided to encourage fellowship Sunday mornings.
Coffee Team: Volunteers make and serve coffee Sunday Mornings.
Setup and Tear Down Team: Chairs and equipment need set up and torn down by a team each Sunday morning.
Drama Team: The drama team reinforces the Sunday morning teaching through brief dramas.
Sound Board Technicians: This job presents a great opportunity for people with a good ear to help ensure good sound and flow during the worship services. Help make worship sound great and feel comfortable. Sound or musical experience preferred, but training is provided for anyone who is interested.
Worship Team: Musicians, both singers and instrumentalists are needed to lead worship. An audition is required.
Visual Team: This is a job for creative individuals to provide a visual reinforcspanent to the Sunday teaching through a sermon prop. It also includes oversight of seasonal decorations as well as aesthetics that will enhance the worship experience.
Multimedia Team: This job includes both the technical and creative aspects of creating and presenting multimedia to reinforce the Sunday morning teaching and enhance worship in general.
Information Table Host/Hostess: The information table consists of material on spiritual growth as well as the sign ups for various activities. Volunteers set up, tear down, are present at the table to answer questions, and serve snack on a rotating schedule.
Nursery Helpers: Volunteers care for children birth through 2 years old during Sunday morning worship.
Children's Teacher or helper: Teaching children 3 years old- 5 th grade Sunday mornings. Curriculum, supplies, support, training provided.
LIGHTHOUSE Team Member: Lighthouse is our ministry to youth from 6 th through 12 th grade meeting Sunday nights at 6 PM. Volunteers do a variety of things to provide spiritual growth and fellowship for youth.
Clerical & Administrative Help
Data Entry: Help needed updating church database periodically. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Access preferred, but training is provided.
Bulletin Stuffers and Folders: Help needed folding and stuffing weekly bulletins.
Mailing: Help needed folding and collating mailings.
Bread Baking and Delivery: The visitor follow up program includes delivering a fresh baked bread, brochure and magnet to each family that visits. Volunteers bake frozen bread dough purchased at the store and deliver to the visitor's home.
Advertising and Public Relations: This team plans and implspanents paid advertisspanents as well as press releases to maintain a constant presence in the community.
Caring Heart: Volunteers provide a meal for a new mother, someone who has had surgery, or who has been recently widowed.
Door Hangers: Once or twice a year we hang door hangers in the community, inviting people to church. People go out in groups, usually in developments and along main roads where houses are the closest.
Phone Callers: Before each major outreach (Anniversary, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day) we call through our mailing list, giving everyone a personal invitation to church.
Web Team: People with experience in graphic design, website design, forms, javascript, or Flash is a plus but training can be provided. We use Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.
Small Group Leader: Volunteers oversee a group of 6-12 mspanbers whose purpose is to worship, disciple, fellowship, do outreach, and serve. What, when, and where you meet is up to you.
Food Preparation and Service: There are many opportunities to prepare and serve food for C.L.A.S.S.'s, Alpha, etc.
Fellowship Team: Planning events to help people connect including Christmas Party, Sweetheart Banquet, Easter Egg Hunt, picnics, and others.
